Fashion Business and Entrepreneurship
Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive study of the business aspects of fashion design and entrepreneurship. Students will learn about fashion marketing, brand development, financial management, and business planning for fashion enterprises. The course covers fashion business models, production management, quality control, and ethical business practices. Through laboratory work and industry visits, students will gain hands-on experience with fashion business operations. The course emphasizes the selection of appropriate business models and strategies for the Kenyan fashion market, considering factors such as consumer preferences, cultural trends, and market opportunities.
