Advanced Chaplaincy and Interfaith Dialogue
Course Description
This course explores the global context of chaplaincy and its role in interfaith dialogue and religious accommodation. Students will learn about world religions, interfaith communication, religious pluralism, and chaplaincy in multicultural settings. The course examines global chaplaincy challenges such as religious conflict, secularization, and the role of chaplains in promoting peace. Through case studies and dialogue exercises, students will develop skills in interfaith communication and religious accommodation. The course emphasizes the importance of evidence-based chaplaincy and multi-faith collaboration in addressing global spiritual challenges. By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze global chaplaincy issues and advocate for effective interfaith chaplaincy practices.
