Automotive Engineering
Course Description
This course focuses on the diagnosis and repair of complex automotive systems and electronic control systems. Students will learn about engine diagnostics, transmission diagnostics, electronic control systems, and hybrid vehicle technology. The course covers the behavior of automotive systems under various conditions and the use of advanced diagnostic equipment. Through laboratory exercises and projects, students will develop skills in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive problems. The course emphasizes the application of diagnostic principles and repair techniques to restore vehicles to optimal working condition in the Kenyan context. By the end of the course, students will be able to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems with modern diagnostic tools.
