Contemporary Theology and Global Mission
Course Description
This course introduces students to contemporary theological trends and their implications for global mission in the 21st century. Students will explore topics such as contextual theology, postmodern theology, Pentecostal and charismatic theology, and theology of religions. The course covers both systematic and contextual approaches to theology, including African Christian theology. Students will gain hands-on experience through theological research projects and cross-cultural ministry exposure. The course also discusses the ethical implications of theological positions and their impact on mission practice. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of contemporary theological discourse and be able to engage critically with theological issues in global mission.
