Counselling Psychology Techniques
Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and strategies of counseling psychology from a Christian perspective. Students will learn about various counseling approaches, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies. The course covers both traditional and Christian counseling approaches, emphasizing their application in the Kenyan context. Through case studies and role-playing exercises, students will develop counseling skills and learn to apply them in various settings. The course also addresses ethical considerations in Christian counseling and the impact of counseling on individuals and communities. By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze counseling situations and develop effective counseling strategies from a biblical perspective.
