Family and Marriage Counseling
Course Description
This course focuses on the theory and practice of family and marriage counseling from a Christian perspective. Students will learn about family systems theory, marital dynamics, and biblical principles for healthy relationships. The course covers various counseling frameworks and tools such as family therapy models, communication techniques, and conflict resolution strategies. Through case studies of real families, students will analyze family dynamics and develop counseling approaches. The course emphasizes the importance of aligning family counseling with biblical values and the unique challenges facing families in Kenya.
